2026 Garden Opening Workday
Garden Opening Workday Saturday, April 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. @ Stober Community Garden
Come and get your hands dirty and enjoy the outdoors helping the Stober Community Garden get ready for spring planting! All are welcome to join in the fun!
We will be weeding, hand tilling winter cover crop into the plots, adding organic nitrogen fertilizer along with other maintenance to get the garden plots ready for planting this year.
If you have any extra garden forks, rakes, round shovels, and buckets, please bring those along with you. We will have tape and markers for you to label your tools so they don’t get lost in the shuffle.
Come and enjoy Santiago’s breakfast burritos and fruit as a thanks for your hard work! .We will have water available onsite, but please don’t forget to bring your own water bottle.
***Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, closed toed shoes, sunscreen, hat, etc.***
