Stober Community Garden Is Celebrating 5 Years of Growing!
Please join us for a special Community Potluck.
Sunday, September 13th 4–6 p.m.
2300 Urban St, Lakewood, CO 80215
The potluck will take place in the “hug and go” loop by the outdoor classroom just to the south of Stober Community Garden.
We will have some tables and chairs but feel free to bring your own camping chair or blanket for your comfort. Also, please consider bringing your own cup/water bottle and mess kit so we can reduce the waste that goes to landfill. Thank you!!
This summer marks the fifth growing season of Stober Community Garden! Five years of growing food, building friendships, learning together, and creating something truly special in our neighborhood—all made possible by many hands and many people.
We hope this celebration feels like a homecoming for gardeners from throughout the years, our cherished supporters and generous donors, volunteers, neighbors, and everyone who has helped our garden grow.
Together, we’ll celebrate more than five years of fresh food. We’ll celebrate the friendships, beauty, generosity, and sense of community that have made Stober Community Garden such a vibrant and welcoming gathering place for neighbors of all ages.
Whether you planted a garden, pulled a weed, volunteered your time, donated to help build the garden, shared in a potluck, or simply enjoyed seeing this special place take root in our neighborhood, we are grateful for you.
So bring your family and friends, a dish to share, and come celebrate with us!
Five years. Many hands. One wonderful community.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
